On October 4, Team Zigo, a haphazard group of marginally in shape dads and some in-shape moms on their Zigo Leaders pedaled for Dystonia Research in Jakes Ride in Short Hills, NJ. The funds raised through Jake’s Ride for Dystonia Research will benefit The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to find better treatments and cures for these movement disorders, and to provide medical patient information. Last year the ride raised enough money to fund four research grants.

“We try to support the local charity rides,” said Zigo’s Marc Urbanski. “And sometimes they give us snacks.”

This year Zigo donated or raised money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation, The Burn Center at St. Barnabas (Pedaling for Prevention), Jake’s Ride for Dystonia Research and Care to Learn.
